Let's Get Stronger

Squating 

A squat is a basic lower-body exercise where you bend your knees and lower your hips down and back like sitting into an invisible chair while keeping your chest up and core tight. Then you push through your heels to stand back up. It targets your quads, hamstrings, and glutes, and improves overall strength and stability.

The four main movements 

Overhead press

An overhead press is an upper-body strength exercise where you press a weight straight up from shoulder level until your arms are fully extended overhead. You keep your core tight, back neutral, and feet grounded as you drive the weight upward. It mainly targets the shoulders, triceps, and upper chest while also engaging your core for stability.

Chest press

A chest press is a push-focused exercise where you press weights away from your chest while lying on a bench or using a machine. You extend your arms forward, then control the weight back down to the starting position. It targets the chest muscles, triceps, and shoulders, helping build upper-body strength and power.

Deadlift

A deadlift is a full-body strength exercise where you lift a weight, usually a barbell, from the ground to a standing position. You hinge at the hips, keep your back straight, engage your core, and drive through your heels to stand tall with the weight. Deadlifts mainly work your glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and core while also challenging your grip and overall power.

About 

This website is really a project for my digital media class, and I chose to focus it on fitness last minute, of course, as all great things come from last minute decisions in my opinion. As seen above, there are four main movements and a visual demonstration on how to do it.

Take away

If there is anything that I want you to take away from this website, it's that everyone can get better, be it strength, intelligence, speed, or anything else, just be better than you were yesterday. I know it's hard to get started or stay motivated, but what really counts is the small steps. It is not easy, but it is simple
